Appointment of Chief Executive Officer

PKF East Africa is pleased to announce the appointment of Alpesh Vadher as the new Chief Executive Officer with effect from 1 January 2019. He takes over the role from Atul shah who has led the firm with distinction for the last 8 years.
Alpesh has over 25 years experience providing audit and assurance services to clients in various sectors which include Floriculture, Manufacturing, Financial and Trading. He also has a wealth of experience in financial planning, restructuring and reorganising various entities.
Prior to his appointment, Alpesh was the Managing Partner for PKF Kenya in Nairobi and was the Executive Regional Partner for PKF in East Africa. Alpesh has been at the forefront of PKF’s strategy development for the last couple of years and has driven key business projects that positioned the firm for the transformation of its business. He has demonstrated his integrity, leadership capability and strong strategic and financial acumen throughout his time and has earned the respect of his team, our clients and the Board.
Alpesh was nominated for the TOP 40 under 40 men awards by the Business Daily Media in the year 2012. He has also been a keen sportsman and represented the Country in Cricket in two ICC Cricket World Cups in the year 1999 & 2003. He also further represented Kenya in the Commonwealth Games in the year 1998. He has also been a past Chairman of the Kenya Cricket Selection Committee.
