Our North American member firm, PKF O’Connor Davies, has been crowned the Best Place to Work in Westchester by 914INC, Westchester County’s premier business lifestyle magazine. This marks the second consecutive year the firm has featured in the ranking and the first time it has achieved the top spot. PKF O’Connor Davies was praised for the range of benefits offered to employees (including flexible hours and profit-sharing), its mentorship opportunities and its diversity, equity and inclusion activities.

Kevin J. Keane, Executive Chairman at PKF O’Connor Davies, said, ‘We’re constantly seeking innovative ways to enrich our culture and support our team members, and this recognition is a direct reflection of those efforts. This honour further establishes PKF O’Connor Davies in the Westchester County business community as an employer committed to fostering a progressive, positive and supportive work environment.’

PKF Texas has been named as one of 2023’s Best Places to Work in Texas by Best Companies Group. The award followed completion of an in-depth employer questionnaire and a company-wide employee survey. Sonia Freeman, Chief Culture Officer at PKF Texas, said, ‘Appreciating our employees is one of our top priorities, and we are committed to investing in their success both personally and professionally.’

For the 13th year in a row, PKF Mueller (our member firm in Chicago) has been accredited as one of the Best Places to Work in Illinois. Speaking of the firm’s success in this state-wide awards programme, David J. Nissen, PKF Mueller’s CEO, said, ‘We are committed to making our firm a place where employees feel they matter. We strive to create an environment where work and home life can come into an agreeable balance.’

PKF Francis Clark, our UK member firm servicing clients in the south-west of England, is proud to be named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing by Great Place to Work, the global authority on workplace culture. The accolade followed a detailed employee survey, asking staff across all departments and seniority levels to comment on how the company supports their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security.

Amy Taylor, Chief People Officer at PKF Francis Clark, said, ‘Health and wellbeing is hugely important to us, so we’re very proud to be recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing. We’ve invested in lots of initiatives to support the wellbeing of our people – like our Wellbeing Wednesdays and a comprehensive package of benefits, including free access to confidential counselling and an online GP service – and we’re actively looking at what more we can do.’

German member firms PKF Fasselt and PKF Wulf Group have also enjoyed similar success, with PKF Fasselt being named an Excellent Employer 2023 by the Berlin-Brandenburg Association of Tax Consultants. The panel of experts cited outstanding development opportunities, strong organisation and digitisation as key strengths of the firm.
